Strategic Goal

Appliance Repair American set out to modernize its operations by introducing a mobile-first platform that streamlines job assignments and empowers field technicians with real-time access to critical repair knowledge. The goal was to develop a Progressive Web App (PWA) capable of automating scheduling, supporting technician workflows, and minimizing delays caused by manual coordination or limited on-site information. Additionally, the company aimed to leverage AI to provide instant, conversational access to proprietary repair manuals and procedures.


Crafting the Experience

Monte Carlo Web Graphics developed a fully responsive, mobile-first PWA designed to optimize operational efficiency. The platform enabled seamless job assignment, real-time progress tracking, and centralized management for both dispatchers and technicians through role-based access controls. A key innovation was the integration of an AI-powered assistant using OpenAI technology. By implementing a vector-based document search system, we transformed Appliance Repair American’s proprietary manuals, repair guides, and SOPs into an intelligent, searchable knowledge base. Technicians could interact with the assistant directly within the app—asking repair-related questions and receiving accurate, context-aware responses in real time. This significantly reduced reliance on manual lookups and office support.


From Concept to Reality

The PWA transformed daily operations by reducing scheduling inefficiencies and increasing technician productivity. With access to real-time job data and AI-driven support, technicians were able to complete more tasks with fewer interruptions.

The integrated AI assistant also enhanced training and onboarding, allowing new technicians to quickly access guidance while empowering experienced staff with instant recall of complex procedures. Overall, the solution positioned Appliance Repair American as a leader in tech-enabled field services—combining automation and AI to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficient repair operations.
