Capitol Debate
Capitol Debate was first developed in 2006, and since then, the organization has started academic summer camps across Maryland and Virginia. Their primary goal is to enrich the social, intellectual, and academic lives of their students through the debating process. Capitol Debate believes that this helps to cultivate public speaking and leadership skills that are vital to later career success.
The goal of Capitol Debate hasn't changed, even as their academic camps have grown to serve thousands of students. The core value has remained at the heart of all their programs and activities.
With over 40 academic camps planned throughout the United States, Canada, and Singapore, geographic expansion and adherence to guiding principles have enabled Capitol Debate to enhance the lives of students across the world.
Their goal is to provide every single student access to debate through their programs, which is why they continue to expand and have established the International Club Debate League.
