The Project: Intelligent Travel Recommendation System

Richard’s thesis, titled a “Web-Based Travel Recommender System with Weka Integration for Data Mining,” focused on enhancing user experience through intelligent and data-driven recommendations.

The system was designed with integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, allowing it to:

• Analyze user preferences based on search behavior
• Track saved tourist destinations
• Interpret interaction patterns within the platform

Through the integration of Weka, a well-known data mining tool, the system was able to process and analyze collected data effectively. This enabled the platform to generate personalized travel recommendations tailored to each user’s interests and behavior.
